One gallerist who sets high store on skill and craft is London-based gallerist Tristan Hoare, who has participated in Nomad St Moritz for the past three years: “there’s a mixture of very sophisticated collectors,” he says. Among his exhibits this year was a pewter plate on which is laid a white stoneware chrysanthemum whose petals unfurl delicately, as if just freshly picked.
