Homo Faber: An Island of Light: Ptolemy Mann

We are pleased to announce Ptolemy Mann’s participation in ‘Homo Faber 2026: An Island of Light’, where her distinctive woven works continue to explore the interplay of colour, light and material.

Taking place from 1st –30th September at the Fondazione Giorgio Cini on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore, the fourth edition of the Biennial brings together hundreds of exceptional artisans from around the world. Across a series of immersive installations, An Island of Light explores the profound relationship between light, materials and the human hand.
